Nice cozy pub in a sidestreet of oxford. This is a cool place to have a beer when shopping where you can experience old fantastic british pub culture

Beautiful interior, not too expensive beer however too many cask choices for the turnover - my Nicholson's pale was on the turn and not really enjoyable. Fat barmaid was miserable, didn't say a word and didn't really want to be there. Will try again next time on the west end.

Came in Valentines night for a meal before a show.
Dining area upstairs has a lovely atmosphere. Plenty of choices on the menu and very reasonably priced.
The guy serving us was very welcoming and friendly. As we told him he was a very good host. Highly recommend.

Went in to have lunch and few drinks with my colleagues for my birthday. My colleagues had steak sandwich and said it was a 6/10. I had a Club sandwich which I would rate as a 8/10.
The staff there are friendly and nice.
Would go there again for a nice club sandwich and few drinks. Thank you ☺️

Great place just off Oxford Street with really pub feel and reasonable prices.
Dining is upstairs & it's best to book as it's always busy.

Nice old fashioned pub very near Oxford Circus tube station. Does classic pub food. Part of Nicholson's chain, they have lots of oldy worldy pubs in London.
Handy for the London Palladium, but can be rammed when there's a show on. Recommend.

The premises, A lovely old building with character decor. Seating area was well presented and not to cramped. Just the right amount of tables and chairs for the room.
Food. Was well presented, decent portions and hot.
Staff. Very pleasant and polite, nothing was to much trouble.
